"Raku Sgraffite"

Enamel, whilst still in its powder form is reworked by hand. It is striated so as to remove a part of it. Extra layers of enamel can also be added to the piece to allow for pieces with both mate and shiny areas and a palpable texture.
This technique can be used on several pieces that once brought together will complete each other as a set.
